Web selling platform
About Sellbox
Sellbox is a selling platform based on a dropbox cloud service. After logging in to the system you just need to select a file that you would like to sell, quote a price, enter your Paypal details and after clicking on the “Start selling” button your file is ready to be sold.
The Challenge
Simplifying complicated payment system, implementing bitcoin payments, easy access to dropbox and google drive files, maintain the service, configuration and administration of the server.
The Solution
During this project we were responsible for a development of a selling platform as well as maintaining the service. We introduced payments with Bitcoin cryptocurrency. We changed the service design as well as extended profile of a sold product by giving an option to include clips from Vimeo and Youtube or music from Soundcloud. We were also responsible for tightening the security of the sellers’ files and their payments.
